Support for Canterbury museums after earthquake

To our museum colleagues in Canterbury

Our thoughts go out to all our colleagues in Canterbury at this difficult time and we hope you, your families and friends are warm and safe. Since the earthquake hit Canterbury on Saturday morning, Judith Taylor, our South Island Museum Development Officer, has been in touch with many museums in the affected area to touch base and see what support we can provide. If you can, please let us know how you and your museums are faring after the earthquake.

Please remember that if you have any concerns about your museum or gallery and its collections, or if there is advice you need on how to proceed, call our freephone helpline 0508 678 743.
