Please send a request to borrow for research to Te Papa at least one month before the material is required.
Sending your request
To borrow collection items for research purposes, send the following by e-mail or mail to the relevant Curator or Collection Manager
- List of specimens required
- Brief description of the research project
- Details of the borrowing organisation
- Details of the contact person within that organisation
- DNA sampling application form if applicable
- Requests from postgraduate students should be accompanied by a letter of support from your supervisor
