The Discovery Centres are interactive exhibition environments designed for children and families at Te Papa. Each focuses on one of Te Papa’s key exhibition and collection areas (Art, History, Māori, Pacific, and Natural Environment).
As PlaNet Pasifika Host, you will ensure the needs of visitors are met at all times. You will have outstanding customer service skills, a passion for working with children, enthusiasm for taking storytelling sessions in StoryPlace, and a strong knowledge of Pacific cultures and heritage.
Your self-motivation, creativity, and ability to impart information effectively will contribute to making the Discovery Centres dynamic family attractions.
It is essential that you are available to work rostered hours (including public holidays and Sundays) and that you are committed to working in a bicultural organisation.
