The World's Fastest Indian @ Te Papa - 12/2005

The replica of Burt Munro’s 1962 record-breaking ‘Munro Special’ Indian Scout that was used in Roger Donaldson’s feature film, The World’s Fastest Indian has been displayed at Te Papa in December 2005.

 

Culture Moves! Performance Nights and Events - 10&11/11/05

To celebrate the launch of Māori Showbands, Te Papa's first online exhibition, Te Papa presented The Maori Volcanics and Rim D Paul in concert.  Along with friends Solly Pohatu and Hiria Moffat, these legends of the Māori showbands era reunited for one concert only.


A Day with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra at Te Papa - 06/2004

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra returned to Te Papa in November 2004 with conductor Hamish McKeich and narrator Kevin Keys for a great day of family entertainment.
