Book launch on 8 April 2010
New Zealand Fashion Design was launched on Thursday 8 April in the lovely art deco Grand Tearoom at the Heritage Hotel, Auckland. Antonia Prebble (star of Outrageous Fortunes) hosted the event which was attended by the designers featured in the book, numerous people from the New Zealand fashion world, media and contributors.

Competition winner announced

About Angela Lassig

Angela Lassig’s current research interests include fashion and textile history in nineteenth and twentieth-century New Zealand. As senior curator, History at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, where she worked for eight years, she curated a number of fashion exhibitions.
