Canada welcomes Whales | Tohorā

1 March 2012

Tere tohorā, Tere tangata. Where whales go, people follow.

This exhibition explores the amazing world of whales and a unique blend of science and storytelling, draws on one of the largest whale collections in the world. See enormous skeletons, explore whaling history, build a dolphin and more, from the collection at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

Whales | Tohorā is now open at the Canadian Museum of Nature.

This exhibition has been touring North America since 2008 – and has previously visited Canada when it was at the Ontario Science Centre in late 2010.
