Mark Adams is one of Aotearoa New Zealand's foremost photographers whose practice since the 1960's has largely focused on large format analog photography. His work has been extensively exhibited in Aotearoa, Australia, South Africa, Europe and at Brazil's São Paulo Biennale. His latest book, Mark Adams: A Survey | He Kohinga Whakaahua (2024) was co-published by Massey University Press and Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki in tandem with an exhibition of the same name.
