Due to construction work in Toi Art on Level 5, we have partnered with the New Zealand Portrait Gallery to offer this programme – please see the listing He Wāhine, He Whenua: Digital Portrait statements.

How do we adorn ourselves and why? Can adornment express our identity and help to tell our stories?

Using a variety of portraits on display, we will explore how people have used adornment to tell their own stories.

In Hīnātore, our learning lab, students will use a range of creative digital tools to express who they are and how they connect to the world.
