Spotlighting Te Taiao | Nature, your class will experience the exhibition before stepping back and exploring the process and principles that Te Papa uses to plan, develop and build exhibitions to connect with audiences of Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally.

You’ll learn about the behind-the scenes work of everyone from our writers to our graphic designers and be shown how the exhibition evolved during its development.

Once you’ve learnt about the design processes at Te Papa, your class will be able to visit Hīnātore, our learning lab, and have a go at building their own version of an exhibit.

This programme is a great choice if your learners are looking ahead to any sort of exhibition, community night, or design challenge in your school, and supports NCEA Exhibition standards at higher levels.
