Around many of us the mauri, or life force, of te taiao is in sharp decline. Aotearoa now has some of the fastest declining biodiversity in the world. This has been caused by land use, invasive species, current levels of pollution, and now, climate change. Mātauranga Māori, and the values that are associated with it, are a rongoā for this hurting world.
