Te Papa invites you to the closing party for Vivienne Westwood & Jewellery. This one-night-only celebration pays tribute to Westwood’s legacy, taking you on an immersive journey through the four defining eras of her career – Punk, Pagan, Anglomania, and Activism.
Immersive Activations: Walk through a world where fashion meets rebellion, with curated experiences, and a catwalk bringing each era to life.
Live Performances: Expect bold, theatrical showcases and music inspired by Westwood’s avant-garde spirit.
Era-Inspired Food & Drink: Sip and savour delicious creations designed to reflect the attitude of each movement.
Crafting the Chaos: Create a fluorescent paper crown or a protest sign.
The Rebel’s Book Club: Writers Michelle Duff, Whiti Hereaka, and Una Cruickshank join Verb Wellington’s Claire Mabey for a conversation about the power of reading, writing, and art. Find out more about this part of the night.
