He Puna Kōrero invites you to listen to inspirational words from Māori language leaders to fuel your te reo Māori journey amongst the community every Wednesday in celebration of Mahuru Māori.

Nau mai ki He Puna Kōrero i Te Papa Tongarewa ki te whakanui i a Mahuru Māori.  I ia te Wenerei ka noho mai he kaikōrero hei puna kōrero mā te taringa, mā te hinengaro, otirā hei whāngai i te arero whakawhiti whakaaro. Te iti o te reo, te nui rānei o te reo, he wāhi ako, he wāhi kōrero mō tātou katoa, nau mai.

  • 12.30–1.00pm – Kaikōrero o te rā

  • 1.00–1.15pm – he wā pātai

  • 1.15–1.30pm – he kaputī, he whakawhiti kōrero ki Hinetītama.

Ka tū he toa hokohoko puka reo Māori o Te Papa ki te kaupapa hei Papa 4 hokohoko atu.

  • Wenerei 16 Hepetema – AJA (Aja Wairere Ropata) Ngāti Raukawa, Te Āti Awa ki Whakarongotai, Ngāti Toa Rangatira, and Ngāti Porou he kaiwaiata, he kaitito anō hoki i Pōneke.

  • Wenerei 23 Hepetema – Ahorangi Rawinia Higgins (Tūhoe), te Heamana i Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori, te Tumu Ahurei i Te Herenga Waka Victoria University

  • Wenerei 30 Hepetema – Ahorangi Hona Black (Tūhoe), i Te Kawa a Māui, i Te Herenga Waka Victoria University.
