In celebration of the Chinese New Year, an array of different performances, coming from countries all over the world, will be held in the beautiful venue of Rongomaraeroa, Te Papa’s multicultural marae.

This event features an enchanting lineup of diverse cultural performances, brought to you by multicultural communities and local talents in the wider Wellington region.

The purpose of this event is to bring the communities together to celebrate diversity and rich cultures in Wellington, enhancing an inclusive society, based on the values of understanding, respecting, and acknowledging all traditions and cultures.  

This year, only to mention a few, you will be able to watch Irish, Filipino, Middle Eastern and Argentinian Dance performance, and listen to African, Chinese, and folk music! Plus, many other performances by our vibrant and diverse community.
