Step into a world of imagination as the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra brings three beloved Aotearoa New Zealand picture books to life with enchanting live music. How My Koro Became a Star, Colour the Stars, and The Bomb all share heartwarming stories of stars, friendship, and whānau, woven together with music that will spark joy in listeners of all ages.
Led by NZSO conductor Hamish McKeich and narrated by children’s presenter and NZSO Animateur Chris Lam Sam, this interactive concert is designed for tamariki and their whānau to enjoy together. Expect beautiful storytelling, captivating melodies, and even a burst of excitement with Offenbach’s famous Can-Can!
