The Tamariki Zone ensures that our kids have a dedicated space to flourish and explore te ao o te moko, the living world of Māori skin markings. All ages are welcome! Haramai!

Kei ngā ringaringa o ngā tamariki mokopuna te āpōpō o te moko. Ko tā Te Mātātuhi ki Te Papa he mihi ki te onamata me te hāpai ake i te anamata – kia ora tonu ā tātou mahi moko ā-haere nei te wā. He mea whāngai nā ō tātou tūpuna, he mea kawe ake e ō tātou mokopuna. 

Ko tā te Wāhi Tamariki he whakakoakoa i ō tātou mokopuna ki te ao o te moko. Hei āpiti atu, e pātata ana te wāhi nei ki tō tātou marae, ki Rongomaraeroa i te taumata tuawhā – te wāhi ka tū ai tā tātou kaupapa, Te Mātātuhi ki Te Papa. Nā reira kawea mai ā tātou tamariki mokopuna kia tauwhirotia rātou ki ngā manaakitanga o tō tātou whare o Te Papa Tongarewa. Ka whakahaerehia e ngā kaimahi o Te Papa ētahi ngohe whakakoakoa mā ngā tamariki mō te roanga ō ia rā!
